Secondly, the thickness of the ribs is very small, so it is easier to jam and damage them, therefore, cleaning requires much more care from the service crews.

Another feature of microchannel heat exchangers, which is not a disadvantage in the literal sense, nevertheless negatively affects their use in refrigeration technology. The fact is that such heat exchangers cannot be counted among counter-flow devices, which, as you know, are most effective as evaporators and condensers.
